Who We Are
Be a part of the CRM Services Team at Georgia Tech! Our team enables and empowers our users to unlock the potential of the Salesforce platform. We support many Institute groups and manage the campus-wide student advising system, Advisor Link.
The CRM Services team is looking for a student worker to help support and enhance Georgia Tech’s implementation of the industry leading CRM system, Salesforce. We need an imaginative and resourceful individual with business analysis (BA) skills to help with a variety of CRM initiatives including helping to add enhancements to Advisor Link (the campus-wide Student Advising System).
The student Business Analyst will work with a Senior BA to bridge the knowledge gap between functional end users and developers. The OIT Team uses Scrum, an iterative, lightweight, team-based framework, to deliver value to the students and staff at Georgia Tech via Salesforce. As such, the student BA will have opportunities to practice highly marketable skills such as facilitating discovery sessions, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, helping to manage the backlog, defining, and executing test scenarios, developing documentation, and delivering training. The student BA also may learn basic Salesforce System Administration skills.

The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, eager to learn, self-motivated, and interested in a multi-semester work assignment. The student developer should also have experience with (or want to learn):
- Business system architecture and associated technologies
- Data organization and analysis
- Systems documentation
- Report writing
- Cross communication between functional user and technical groups
- Scrum events, e.g., sprint planning, daily scrum, and retrospectives
- Scrum artifacts, e.g., product and sprint backlogs
- ServiceNow ITBM
- Basic Salesforce System Administration
